Privacy Policy
In a word: we collect no personal information. This site has no application server, no database and no user accounts. This page explains what is actually kept, where, and how to erase it.
1. Who is responsible
Jouer Malin Pro is a personal site, operated from 525 Niagara St, Buffalo, NY 14201, United States. Phone: +1 (716) 885-2233. Email: [email protected]. For any question about this policy or about exercising your rights, that email address is our privacy contact.
2. Information we collect
None. We have no sign-up form, no newsletter, no analytics tool, no ad network. The site sets no HTTP cookies and sends no request to any third-party server: no remote font, no external image, no social-media button.
The only message you can send us goes through the contact page form. That form sends nothing anywhere: it assembles a mailto: link in your browser and opens your email app. You see the message before it leaves, and it's your email provider, not us, that delivers it.
3. What is kept on your device
The site writes to your browser's local storage (localStorage), which never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us.
| Key | Contents | Category |
|---|---|---|
jmp_consent | Your decision on the categories, the date of that decision, and any Do Not Track or GPC signals observed. | Strictly necessary |
jmp_minesweeper | Your best time, per level. | Preferences |
jmp_peg_solitaire | Your best time, per board size. | Preferences |
jmp_unblock | Your lowest number of moves, per level. | Preferences |
jmp_sudoku | Your best time, per level. | Preferences |
jmp_serie | Your daily-challenge streak: the number of consecutive days, your best streak, the date of the last completed challenge and today's results. | Preferences |
jmp_minesweeper_niveau, jmp_peg_solitaire_niveau, jmp_unblock_niveau, jmp_sudoku_niveau | The last setting chosen in each game. | Preferences |
Until you accept the “preferences” category, nothing in the second category is written. If you decline it after having accepted it, those keys are erased immediately.
The daily challenge plays the same way with or without that category. What changes: without it, your streak remembers nothing from one day to the next. The day's puzzle itself is recomputed from the date, never from a saved record.
4. Analytics and advertising
No analytics tool is installed on this site to date. No ad network either. The matching categories exist in the “Manage my choices” window so that, should one of them ever be turned on, it happens with your prior consent and not by default. The advertising disclosure describes the rules that would apply then.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We read navigator.doNotTrack and navigator.globalPrivacyControl and record their values in your consent record. Since no optional category is on by default, these signals change nothing about the site's current behavior: there's nothing to turn off. They would be decisive if analytics were ever added, and we treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as the CCPA/CPRA regulations require.
6. Your rights
Applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, give you the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, without being treated differently for exercising those rights.
We hold nothing about you, which makes these rights simple to exercise: there's no file to consult, correct or hand over. You can erase the data kept on your device yourself, by unchecking “Preferences” in “Manage my choices” at the bottom of any page. You can also write to us at [email protected]; we reply within 45 days, as the CCPA allows (extendable once by 45 days with notice).
If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at reportfraud.ftc.gov, or your state Attorney General's office.
7. Children
The site is aimed at a general audience. Because it collects no information, it collects none from children under 13 either, and nothing on the site calls for the parental consent the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires. See the Parent Info page.
8. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new update date. If an analytics tool or an ad network were ever added, this page would be updated the same day, and section 4 would stop saying “none”.
